Celeste Budwit-Hunter, MA, is a mindful life coach. She works with clients on their journey of mindful, heartfelt and inspired living. Mindfulness instruction can be included and supported in coaching sessions when the client is interested. The purpose of her work is to encourage clients on their own path to an authentic existence—one that contributes personal meaning as well as value to others.
 
 
Celeste has experience as a school counselor for students with learning disabilities, a family therapist, a writer and web editor, a medical consumerism consultant, and a long-time meditation practitioner. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business Management, and she attained a Master of Arts degree in Family Therapy from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Since 1999, she has been authorized as a Shambhala Buddhist meditation instructor.
 
A native Houstonian, Celeste is married and has one stepdaughter.

Regular physical activity benefits every part of your body and can reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease, type-2 diabetes and more. While it’s recommended that adults engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity each week, every bit is better than nothing! It’s important to start moving and gradually increase intensity and duration.

Start strong this week by adding activity whenever possible. It can be as simple as walking while on the phone, parking at the end of the lot, or taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Write down this week’s moves and think of ways to build on them.
